1. First, register your robot with The Construct
For that you will need the vendor-code that the vendor sent you, either by email or in a piece of paper inside the robot box.
Once you have the code, follow the steps in this video
Now your robot is recognized by The Construct learning platform
2. Second, launch the ros project you want to work with
- Go to “My rosjects” option of the left menu
- Then, from the list of rosjects, launch a rosject (the one that you want to use with your robot)
- Once opened you will see a screen like this
3. Connect to your robot
- Make sure that the robot is switched on, and running properly
- Then press the icon “Connect to your robots”
- Then press “Connect”. You will see this message
- After a while, the project will be connected to the robot
4. Control the robot from your programs in the rosject
- Now you can open a terminal and launch one of your programs. The robot will be controlled by your program!
